This course provides learners with an in-depth explanation of the Agilik™ hardware, software, and use of the Agilik™ Care App to facilitate optimized tuning and control of the gait cycle. It presents the programming and terminology related to phases of gait, timings, and other parameters associated with the Agilik™ system. It also explains how to review the data provided by the Agilik™ App, and how to address any issues that may arise in tuning. This course serves as a precursor to an in-person training with the SpryStep® Agilik™ Test Drive orthosis. We recommend completing the "Introduction to SpryStep® Agilik™" course, prior to undertaking this "Agilik™ Theory Fundamentals" course.

This course provides a comprehensive overview of the SpryStep® Agilik™ KAFO, including its functionality, intended users, and the ways it enhances gait. Participants will explore its key features, clinical applications, and review real patient cases that demonstrate its effectiveness. Ket Learning Outcomes: - Understand the function and purpose of the SpryStep® Agilik™ KAFO - Identify key clinical indications and target patient groups - Distinguish how the device supports flexed vs. hyperextended gait patterns - Recognise the role of composite materials and powered assistance in gait improvement - Interpret basic clinical outcomes through patient case examples
